Role Overview:
We're seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our People team and partner with our colleagues and managers in all aspects of HR, in order to support our mission to be an Employer of Choice.
Reporting to the Head of HR you will offer support and guidance to colleagues and managers on a range of HR processes, policies and initiatives to support us in maintaining a positive workplace culture, maximising colleague engagement and helping to shape a supportive working environment.
As a first point of contact for any HR related queries - you’ll enjoy a fast paced and varied role, supporting our central, transport and warehousing functions across multiple sites. In addition to supporting internal stakeholders at all level, you’ll also be required to assist our Head of HR with the implementation of our forward thinking and diverse people strategy initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide guidance and support to employees on HR policies, procedures and best practices
2. Maintaining and championing our HR systems and platforms to ensure accurate data entry and reporting
3. Collaborate with management to identify talent and learning needs to facilitate professional development opportunities
4. Manage employee records and ensure compliance with data protection regulations
5. Assist the administration and promotion of colleagues benefits
6. Contribute to the development and implementation of HR initiatives that support our People strategy
7. Assistance the Engagement and Internal Communications Lead with the delivery of colleague engagement initiatives
8. Advise and assist managers with all ER matters including disciplinary, absence and performance management processes
9. Drive consistent and standard service delivery across all departments and sites
10. Supporting internal stakeholders with hiring cycle of top talent
11. Assisting the Head of HR with varied change and growth projects such as TUPE, policy and process reviews, learning and development strategy, organisational design etc.
Requirements:
12. Experience in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism
13. Proven experience in HR Advisor role or similar position
14. Strong administrative skills with attention to detail in data entry tasks
15. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
16. Ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organisation
17. Good project and stakeholder management skills
18. Knowledge of employment legislation and best practices
19. Proficient in time management and organisation
20. Strong team player with individual initiative
21. Flexibility to travel to multiple sites as required
