Job Description: Design, facilitate, and perform training for laboratory staff. Key responsibilities include:
1. Coordinate training activities for colleagues.
2. Manage schedules and documentation for training not delivered directly by the trainer.
3. Ensure trainees are fully prepared to perform their duties within designated timeframes, with subsequent training completed within 7 days or as appropriate.
4. Maintain and monitor training records to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
5. Create technical training content, including curricula, presentations, quizzes, and documentation.
6. Deliver hands-on training and evaluate trainee performance through data review, practice assignments, and feedback.
Scope: Training new employees, providing remedial training, cross-training existing staff, and ensuring understanding of approximately 20 microbiological testing techniques.
Qualifications: BS in Microbiology or a related science, 3+ years laboratory experience (preferably in Microbiology), ability to work in the US without sponsorship, prior teaching or facilitation experience, technical training design skills, quick learner of lab techniques, problem-solving skills, effective communication, GMP/GLP knowledge, and regular attendance.
