Job Overview
This is a permanent, full-time position (37.5 hours per week) offering a pay rate of £13.21 per hour (£25,838 per annum), along with attractive benefits including a Health Cash Plan.
Role Summary
We are seeking a Housing Management Coordinator to join our team in North Tyneside LD (supported). As our housing and property expert, you will focus on tenancy support, ensuring homes are safe and well-maintained. Your responsibilities include providing housing management services, supporting tenants with their tenancy and rent accounts.
Key Responsibilities
1. Ensure properties are safe, well-maintained, and support tenants in managing their tenancies.
2. Assist tenants with housing benefit claims and ensure timely receipt on rent accounts.
3. Issue and sign warning letters and notices, and attend court proceedings when necessary.
4. Prepare vacant properties for new tenants, ensuring quick turnaround times.
5. Maintain health and safety compliance and uphold maintenance standards.
Candidate Requirements
* Experience managing a housing caseload and overseeing landlord duties.
* Knowledge of re-letting procedures, rent collection, and tenancy actions.
* Leadership skills to guide and support team members.
* Ability to work independently and positively influence diverse individuals.
* Proactive, organized, and able to work on your own initiative.
* Excellent collaboration skills with colleagues and external partners.

Job Details
* Hybrid working: up to 2 days remote per week or based at one of our services.
* Working hours: 9 am to 5 pm.
* Location: North Shields, covering properties across North Tyneside, including Wallsend, Monkseaton, Whitley Bay, and North Shields.
* Use of technology for support plans, benefit claims, and tenancy management.
* Must have a vehicle insured for business purposes; mileage paid.
* Enhanced DBS check required (paid for by us).
