In the role of Bookkeeper & Office Admin Assistant, your responsibilities will be diverse, with no two days being the same. You will support with issuing and managing sales invoices, tracking payments, and handling credit control. Additionally, you'll process purchase invoices, match them to POs, and maintain accurate ledgers. Your duties will include reconciling bank accounts, monitoring cash flow, maintaining product and cost data within the stock system, and liaising with customers and suppliers to resolve financial queries. You will assist with payment runs and supplier statement reconciliation, generate customer quotations, order confirmations, final invoicing, and process customer deposits and payments. Collaboration with the sales team and finance brokers to ensure timely payments is also expected. You will answer incoming calls, direct queries appropriately, and support the wider team with administrative tasks.
Our client is seeking a highly talented individual with experience in a similar role. The position is based in Alton, part-time, fully office-based, with a salary of £30K to £35K PA (pro-rata). Parking is available on-site. Applicants must have prior experience in a similar role and possess the right to work in the UK.
