As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient production processes, from design through to full-scale manufacturing. Analyze production methods, materials, and equipment to determine the most cost-effective and reliable processes. Develop and implement process improvements to reduce downtime, defects, and costs. Collaborate with the product design team to ensure manufacturability of new product designs. Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues related to equipment, processes, and materials. Maintain and modify existing equipment to enhance performance and reliability. Prepare and maintain detailed documentation related to processes, product specifications, and standards. Develop and conduct training sessions for operators and other manufacturing personnel. Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations in the manufacturing process. Collaborate with suppliers to source materials and components that meet quality standards. Assist in the development and implementation of new production lines or facilities. Skills and Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Proven experience (typically 3-5 years) in a manufacturing or production engineering role. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, assembly, welding. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and other engineering tools. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and other manufacturing software. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities. Attention to detail with a focus on quality. Preferred Qualifications: Certification in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar quality systems. Experience with automated manufacturing systems. Familiarity with quality control techniques (e.g., FMEA, SPC). Knowledge of materials and supply chain management.
