School Business Manager
Hours: 37 hours per week / 52 weeks per year
Pay Scale: LG band 10 points 31 – 34, £47,181 - £50,269 (pay award pending) plus contribution to the Local Government Pension Scheme
Responsible To: Headteachers
Key Relationships: Senior Leadership Team, Admin & Finance Staff, Premises Officer
Montrose Primary School is a popular two-form entry, maintained primary school situated in heart of Aylestone. We are a forward-thinking school and we aim to create a special place where all Children and staff feel valued and respected.
The School Business Manager role is a rewarding and valued position and contributes to the successful strategic management of the school. You will be joining an enthusiastic and highly motivated Senior Leadership Team.
The successful candidate must have a proven track record in all aspects of school based finance, (or a similarly complex environment), business management including premises management, HR, safeguarding, data protection and health and safety. You should be able to show initiative and be a great team leader who is able to incorporate strategic business development alongside the general day-to-running of a busy primary school.
This is a varied role with a broad range of responsibilities. We are looking for someone who is familiar with strategic planning and decision-making, professional relationship management, negotiating and influencing at senior leadership and Governing body meetings and managing resources effectively.
