Humberstone Infant Academy is a nurturing and inclusive primary school where children are at the heart of everything we do. We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative and dedicated EYFS Teacher to join our Early Years team and help provide an outstanding start to our children's educational journey.
The Role
The successful candidate will:
•Create a stimulating, engaging and inclusive learning environment that supports children's development across all areas of the EYFS curriculum.
•Plan and deliver high-quality learning experiences that inspire curiosity, independence and a love of learning.
•Assess, monitor and record children's progress effectively, using assessment to inform future learning.
•Foster strong relationships with children, parents and carers to support children's wellbeing and development.
•Contribute positively to the wider life of the school and work collaboratively with colleagues.
•Promote high expectations of achievement, behaviour and attendance.

•Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
•Has a secure understanding of the EYFS Framework and child development.
•Is passionate about providing exceptional early years education.
•Demonstrates excellent classroom practice and high expectations for all learners.
•Can create engaging learning opportunities both indoors and outdoors.
•Has strong communication and organisational skills.
•Works effectively as part of a team and contributes to the wider school community.
•Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

The successful candidate will have to meet the requirements of the person specification in order to be offered the post and will be subject to a satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) disclosure and pre-employment checks.
