3. Prepare and oversee statutory reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
4. Supporting the budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic decision-making.
5. Provide insightful financial analysis to guide business growth and cost optimisation.
6. Supervise and develop the accounting team to ensure operational efficiency.
7. Monitor and improve financial controls and processes within the organisation.
8. Support senior management with financial reporting and strategic planning initiatives.
9. Improve efficiency of systems from an accounting and operations collaboration perspective
The Successful Applicant
10. A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
11. Strong experience in financial management within manufacturing (or other transferrable) industry.
12. Proven expertise in financial controls, diplomatically challenging the status quo and making improvement to finance and business controls
13. Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and compliance standards.
14. Effective leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
15. Strong communication skills to collaborate across departments.
16. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
