Overview of Role:
We are recruiting experienced senior project control professionals for permanent roles on high-profile infrastructure projects in Manchester & Leeds.
Responsibilities:
* Develop programme and project control strategies aligned with client and project needs, providing insights on performance, forecasts, threats, and opportunities.
* Collaborate with planning, commercial, engineering, construction, and risk teams to develop processes, data, and performance measurement techniques such as earned value and rules of credit.
* Ensure project baselines (scope, schedule, estimates, risk) are maintained effectively throughout the project lifecycle.
* Work with data analysts to create performance metrics and dashboards using tools like MS Power BI.
* Identify trends and efficiencies using benchmarking data and technologies like Nodes, Links, and nPlan.
* Communicate project performance to stakeholders at all levels, tailoring messages accordingly.
* Lead a team of project controls professionals to ensure high performance and proactive management.
* Drive innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence in schedule and reporting outputs.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing exceptional service aligned with our core values of People, Integrity, Innovation, and Community.
Requirements:
* Member of a relevant professional body with chartered status or working towards it, and/or degree educated.
* Experience in programme/project controls on large multidisciplinary projects.
* Strong understanding of programme performance elements like scope, change, cost, planning, risk, and data management.
* Knowledge of baseline development, management, and Earned Value Management processes.
* Experience applying performance measurement techniques such as KPIs and milestones.
* Working knowledge of Primavera P6, Oracle Cloud, Acumen, and MS Power BI.
* Experience with UK infrastructure projects and baseline management.
* Understanding of NEC contracts and change control processes.
