What You Will Do:
Work within a fast-paced duty team to conduct thorough assessments of children’s needs.
Manage a diverse caseload, including Children in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP), and Looked After Children (CLA).
Progress cases to Initial Child Protection Conferences (ICPC), manage court proceedings, and present at CLA reviews.
Operate on a structured duty cycle—one week on duty, followed by three weeks managing ongoing work—ensuring both efficiency and quality in case progression.
Candidate Requirements:
Minimum three years’ post-qualification experience in permanent local authority roles.
Proven ability to manage high workloads while maintaining quality outcomes for children and families.
