Overview
Responsible To: Technical / Quality Manager
Qualifications: Qualification in Food Technology / Science / Environmental Health (or equivalent).
Main Purpose: To maintain, control & improve quality standards throughout the organisation.
Responsibilities
* Carry out QA audits on a daily, weekly & monthly basis and take corrective & preventative action as necessary.
* Carry out quality bake checks.
* Liaise with internal departments regarding standards, hygiene, compliance etc.
* Ensure all relevant procedures are followed as detailed in work instructions, HACCP & CCPs to ensure compliance with legislation, 3 rd party & customer standards.
* Ensure all necessary documentation is completed, accurate, updated & filed accordingly.
* Involved in & oversee production quality trials.
* Establish, monitor and revise work instructions as necessary.
* Behave in a responsible manner showing respect for company property and respect for other members of staff.
* Any other reasonable duties as required.
