The role involves working with industrial machinery across a range of sectors. You will be responsible for servicing, repairs, installations, commissioning, and providing comprehensive service support for packaging equipment across the UK. Description of the role: Commissioning and installing new machines. Ensuring the equipment runs in the production environment. Problem solving and investigating root cause. Training customers with routine maintenance. Resolving issues relating to electrics, mechanics or software. Providing telephone diagnosis and support. Liaising between internal teams and customers. About you: Proven experience in a Field Service Engineer or similar technical service role. Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills. Experience installing, commissioning, and maintaining industrial machinery. Ability to diagnose issues methodically and problem solving. Confident in training customers on equipment operation and routine maintenance. Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively between customers and internal teams.
