Founded in 1974, our work is unique in bringing together legal and social work expertise with the direct voice and insights of young people and families. Lifelong Links, Family Rights Group’s pioneering approach which has grown across the UK over the past seven years, aims to ensure that children and young people in care and care leavers have a positive support network to help them practically and emotionally during their time in care and later as adults. We are two years into a significant project to ensure that Lifelong Links reaches more care leavers in London, helping us towards our wider goal that every child in care and care leaver is offered Lifelong Links. The project aligns with our ambitions to support young people to engage with, influence, promote and help to deliver our work, which you will deliver in this post. This exciting and dynamic post will involve leading the charity's young people's participation activities so that young people with experience of the child welfare system, including care experienced young people, inform, influence and help to deliver the strategic priorities of the charity. You will support care experienced young people to be integral to the development, influence, promotion and scaffolding of Lifelong Links-related work and the Lifelong Links London programme.
