Job Title: DevOps Engineer

Our client, a leading financial services organisation is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their team.
This is a hands-on role where you will take ownership of deployment pipelines for .NET applications running on-premises Windows IIS servers. You will be pivotal in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and stability of CI/CD processes, while supporting developers with any deployment-related issues
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines (CI/CD)
Deploy .NET applications to complex IIS server environments
Use Git (PR processes, peer reviews, controlled code changes)
Manage config file replacements for different environments within pipelines
Use PowerShell for server management during deployments
Support developers with troubleshooting pipeline failures
Skills
Proven experience managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
In-depth understanding of Git workflows and best practices for version control.
Solid knowledge of Windows IIS environments and application deployments.
Proficient in PowerShell scripting for automation and server management.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with developers.
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, especially in diagnosing deployment issues.
Exposure to Azure cloud and SQL Server environments is a plus.
Environment & Tools
Primary: Azure DevOps, IIS, .NET stack, Git, PowerShell
Secondary: Azure cloud, SQL Server, Strong deployment process discipline, version control, and environment-specific configuration management.
