Key Responsibilities
As a Tim Hortons Restaurant Shift/Floor Manager, you will support the Restaurant Manager with responsibilities including:
* Customer Service:
o Lead by example, prioritizing customers.
o Ensure customer focus in all operations.
o Accurate staff scheduling to meet demand.
o Support operational efficiency through regular store walks.
* People:
o Encourage staff suggestions and concerns.
o Provide performance feedback, set goals, and support development.
o Create a positive, respectful team environment.
o Manage performance issues in coordination with HR.
* Driving Sales:
o Understand sales trends, peak times, and adjust accordingly.
o Ensure proper product merchandising and marketing.
o Coach staff on upselling techniques.
o Identify areas for improvement and motivate continuous enhancement.
* Operations:
o Monitor KPIs such as sales, staff turnover, food safety, and health & safety standards.
o Maintain composure under pressure.
o Manage stock orders and quality checks.
o Schedule maintenance for equipment.
o Oversee opening and closing procedures.
o Ensure cleanliness, food hygiene, and customer experience standards.
o Implement health and safety protocols, reporting incidents promptly.
o Work flexible shifts as part of the management team.
Key Requisites
* Previous experience managing restaurants.
* Flexible and disciplined work approach.
* Food environment experience is advantageous but not essential.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good numeracy and literacy skills.
* High standards of food hygiene and safety.
* Experience handling customer complaints.
* Adherence to health and safety procedures.
