Are you ready to shift into gear with a role that delivers more than just pizzas? We're on the lookout for a skilled Class 2 HGV Driver to join our fantastic team in Avonmouth. You’ll be working a rolling 3-week rota, covering 4 shifts over 7 days, with 12-hour shifts starting between 3 PM and 5 PM. If you thrive under pressure and love the buzz of the road, this could be the perfect fit for you!
What Success Looks Like in This Role:
* Health & Safety Knowledge: A solid understanding of Health and Safety Legislation and Food Safety Standards, along with good geographic knowledge of UK roads. A full Class 2 licence is essential.
* Daily Checks: Conduct daily vehicle checks in line with company procedures to ensure roadworthiness, load safety, and correct vehicle usage.
* Experience Matters: Ideally, you’ll have at least 1 year of current driving experience, no more than 6 points on your licence, and multi-drop delivery experience. Familiarity with chilled food industry standards and the ability to handle heavy goods is a plus.
* Team Player: Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers, colleagues, and managers while working within a team to achieve daily targets.
