Our finance team were finalists at this year’s North West Finance Awards and we are now looking for a Management Accountant to join our dynamic finance department. Working within a fast-paced environment in a growing business, you will work closely along side the Financial Controller on month end processes including the preparation of monthly group management accounts for our 5 main entities. Other duties will include preparion of financial reports for submission to the FCA and dealing with requests for information from our statutory auditors. We have recently migrated to an exciting new finance platform, and this has resulted in an opportunity to begin working on adhoc analytical projects that will help support the board and wider stakeholders.

Management of month end processes; accruals and prepayments, journals and reconciliations.
Assist with the preparation of the monthly group management accounts.
Support with the P&L and budget to actuals, by preparing detailed analysis into trends and variances.
Support the statutory audit, responding to queries and collating supporting information.
Manage the weekly payment run process.
Support the finance assistant in processing bank transactions and invoices.
Preparation of financial reports for submission to the FCA.
support with FP&A activity such as forecasting and analysis.
AAT qualified or part qualified.
Strong technical understanding of basic accounting principles including prepayments, accruals, amortisation and depreciation.
Experience in contributing towards month end processes and outputs, including preparation of management accounts.
