Overview
At The Milk Bar, we believe in more than just milkshakes – we’re building a place where people connect, enjoy, and leave smiling. We’re now looking for a Crew Lead to join us and take charge of the daily flow – keeping things calm, confident, and running smoothly.
Responsibilities
* Preparing and serving our milkshakes, sandwiches, desserts, and light menu items.
* Leading and supporting the crew through busy periods with steady, positive energy.
* Working closely with the owners to help shape the day-to-day operations.
* Taking initiative to keep the shop flowing – from prepping sandwiches in the morning to managing customer service on the floor.
* Maintaining high standards of consistency, quality, and presentation across everything we serve.
* Assisting with cash handling, cleaning, and keeping the space welcoming and professional.
Qualifications
* Someone switched-on who can step up, lead by example, and set the pace of the day.
* Reliable, professional, and comfortable taking initiative without needing to be asked.
* Strong communication skills and a calm, confident energy under pressure.
* A flexible, enthusiastic attitude towards changes as we grow and expand our brand.
* Availability set via roster – weekend availability is essential and will not change.
* Hospitality or leadership experience is a big plus, but we’ll also consider candidates with the right attitude and proven initiative.
