Position Summary

The Program Coordinator will play a pivotal role in advancing the Institute for Nonprofit Practice's (INP) ambitious growth strategy, aimed at amplifying the organization's impact on leaders, organizations, and communities nationwide. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of National Program Operations, the Program Coordinator will ensure the seamless delivery of the Core Certificate, RISE or BLIprograms across various U.S. locations.

The Program Coordinator will be instrumental in fostering student engagement and maximizing program impact by cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with participants. Serving as a key ambassador for INP, the coordinator will connect and build relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders. Responsibilities also include being the primary point of contact for students, supporting faculty with technical needs, such as Zoom hosting for virtual sessions, and aiding in the recruitment and enrollment of new students.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional project management skills, a proactive approach, and a deep commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. This is a full-time, exempt position.

Essential Functions

* Fosters and maintains strong relationships with students to enhance engagement and maximize program impact by serving as the main point of contact for day-to-day student and faculty needs for 3-4 cohorts of students.
* Serve as the lead Zoom host for virtual sessions managing all technology and administrative tasks, including taking attendance, creating breakout rooms, managing the chat function, and providing tech support to students and faculty.
* Ensure all course materials and information in the Learning Management System (LMS) are accurate, current, and updated as needed.
* Support the recruitment of students by participating in candidate interviews, preparing admissions notifications and responding to accepted student inquiries.
* Support all processes related to student enrollment, including tracking completion of enrollment forms, preparing program launch communications, and managing student registration.
* Plan, coordinate, and attend events, including, but not limited to, program sessions, graduations, and other related activities; ensure all logistical details are managed effectively.
* Manage and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and adherence to organizational goals.
* Uphold INP’s commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in all aspects of program coordination and stakeholder engagement.

Additional Responsibilities

* Attend meetings as directed to ensure alignment and consistency across programs and geographic locations.
* Oversee the accurate and timely collection of student and program data.
* Partner with local or national colleagues on specific projects where there is strong alignment with professional goals or experience.
* Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

* Authentic passion for INP’s mission and desire to foster practices incorporating diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
* 2-3 years of professional experience in a nonprofit organization. Prior program experience preferred.
* Exceptional organization and project management skills required coupled with an established track record of meeting deadlines in a professional environment.
* Superior interpersonal, writing, and communication skills.
* Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Strong computer skills within Google Workspace and Office 365 environments with the ability to learn new software applications.
* Periodic travel to attend meetings and support in person events as needed or required

INP offers a competitive salary for all staff positions. The exact salary that will be offered to the Program Coordinator will be determined based on a consideration of the successful candidate’s skills, experience, and geography and aligned with INP’s compensation policies. Salary Range: $52,000 - $62,000. We expect this role to be paid near the $60,000 mark for most geographic regions. New staff are rarely brought in at the top of the range to ensure internal equity and to leave room for salary growth during an employee’s tenure at the Institute for Nonprofit Practice.

The Institute for Nonprofit Practice offers a generous benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision coverage and a retirement savings 401(k) plan. In addition, and at present, INP offers Flexible Time Off (FTO) for all team members, eleven paid holidays, and winter and summer breaks for collective rest and restoration for all

employees.

Physical Requirements

This is a hybrid remote position that requires the employee to work on-site in INP’s Dedham office two (2) designated days per week. Access to reliable transportation is a must.
