We are looking for a talented and passionate Modelling Senior Analyst to join our Credit Risk Modelling Team. Our team plays a critical role in developing and maintaining credit risk models across Starling, focussing on both IFRS 9 and operational models. As a Modelling Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for:
* Developing, executing and maintaining operational credit models and/or IFRS models.
* Working closely with stakeholders to ensure that model developments meet business requirements.
* Producing detailed model documentation, including methodology, assumptions, and limitations.
* Monitoring model performance and conducting regular reviews to ensure accuracy and stability.
* Collaborating with model validation teams to address any findings and ensure models are robust.

As a Modelling Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for:
* Developing, executing and maintaining operational credit models and/or IFRS models.

Requirements
* Ideally a minimum 3 - 5 years' experience in developing operational credit risk models and/or IFRS9 models.
* Proficient in the use of analytical tools, specifically Python/SQL and spreadsheets.
* Graduate level education preferable, ideally in a numerical degree (or an equivalent work experience).
* Good knowledge of regulatory and risk management guidelines relating to credit risk.
* Organised, flexible and adaptable, with the ability to switch between tasks seamlessly.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
