Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Indirect Tax & E‑Invoicing Manager to help shape how we meet global tax obligations in an increasingly digital environment. Reporting to the Global Indirect Tax Team, you will be based in St Ives, Cambridgeshire.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee VAT compliance across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring accurate and timely preparation, review and submission of returns.
* Own VAT account reconciliations, safeguard reporting integrity and resolve issues confidently.
* Monitor global indirect tax developments and translate regulatory change into practical business solutions.
* Lead the rollout and management of mandatory e‑invoicing and real‑time reporting, working closely with finance and IT to embed compliant solutions within ERP and accounting systems.
* Strengthen governance, internal controls and documentation, embedding compliance into day‑to‑day processes and supporting automation and efficiency.
* Provide clear, practical guidance on VAT implications relating to new business models, cross‑border activity and supply chain change.
About You
* Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics, along with a recognised professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
* Bring extensive experience in indirect tax within a multinational environment, supported by a strong understanding of global VAT/GST compliance frameworks and emerging e‑invoicing regulations.
* Hands‑on experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP DRC and OneSource Tax Determination is essential.
* Possess strong collaboration, communication and attention to detail skills, with the ability to work across functions and geographies.
* Take pride in producing work of the highest standard and approach tasks with care, ownership and attention to detail.
