About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Analyst – Capital Expenditure to support our capital investment planning, financial governance and long‑term decision‑making. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for exposure across a large, complex organisation and who enjoys analytical work, collaboration and contributing to high‑impact projects.
Responsibilities
* Lead financial oversight of capital projects across the Group
* Prepare accurate actual‑vs‑budget reporting with clear variance analysis
* Maintain capital dashboards and project performance reporting
* Manage the capital budgeting and forecasting process
* Consolidate inputs and validate assumptions for capital planning
* Support fleet strategy through the review of investment cases
* Work with Procurement, Property & Infrastructure, Operations and Senior Leadership
* Ensure capital spend is accurately tracked and classified
* Support fixed asset and capital accounting activities
* Enhance capital reporting tools, financial models and forecasting processes
Qualifications
* Newly qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
Required Skills
* Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel capability
* Confident financial modelling skills
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to interpret operational detail and turn it into financial insight
* Highly motivated with strong attention to detail
* Proactive, accountable and able to work well with colleagues at all levels
Preferred Skills
* Audit, FP&A, financial reporting or commercial finance
* Experience using Oracle Fusion
