Job Description:
SRM Recruitment is partnering with a leading brand based in Northamptonshire, seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join their team.
Reporting to the CFO, you will oversee all payroll activities within the group, managing 2 Payroll Officers.
Job Purpose:
* Supervise and ensure efficient, accurate payroll for all companies.
* Manage timely payroll payments.
* Support group forecasts and budgets.
* Lead and support Payroll Officers.
* Promote a culture aligned with Core Values.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure accurate, timely monthly payroll processing.
* Support Payroll Officers.
* Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and audits.
* Maintain payroll databases.
* Develop systems and processes for payroll accuracy.
* Ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
* Support digital transformation of finance systems.
* Prepare management and annual accounts.
About you:
* CIPP qualification or working towards it.
* Effective workload management and delegation skills.
* Experience managing large payrolls (~1000 employees).
* Knowledge of pensions law, HMRC regulations, and pay legislation.
* Experience managing end-to-end payroll processes.
* Proficiency with Sage Payroll.
* Knowledge of payroll practices and procedures.
