Overview
The Northumberland Emotional Wellbeing and Behaviour Support Service is a peripatetic education support team working with school staff and multi-disciplinary professionals to assess the needs of learners (predominantly between the ages of 3 and 16 years old) with emotional wellbeing and behaviour needs and subsequently to support the school or setting in the implementation and evaluation of appropriate strategies and approaches. We are looking for a EWB Worker with a significant level of experience working with children and young people with emotional wellbeing and behaviour needs within an educational setting and who has knowledge and experience of implementing evidence-based interventions and approaches to support learners with this range of needs. Staff may work directly with designated pupils and young people to meet their identified social, emotional and behavioural needs as well as working alongside school staff to help build the capacity required to enable them to manage the needs of the children and young people in their care. The Emotional Wellbeing and Behaviour Support Worker will work collaboratively with, and under the supervision of, the EWB Specialist Teachers employed within the team.
