My client is a growing technology business seeking support for their collaborative team on a 3-month temporary contract as a Finance Assistant. The position is based in Royston, and the successful candidate will handle various aspects of accounting, including:
1. Accounts payable duties
2. Preparing reports and presentations for management
3. Bookkeeping tasks such as invoicing and expense tracking to ensure accurate nominal postings
4. Using Sage Accounting Plus
About You
1. Proficiency in Sage Accounting Plus software
2. Experience with nominal ledger, journal entries, profit and loss, and balance sheet
3. Strong organisational and communication skills
4. Experience supporting small businesses is a plus
5. Knowledge of dealing with foreign currency is a plus
The hourly rate for this position ranges from £15.00 to £17.00 per hour, depending on experience.
We are seeking someone who can commit to working in the office 5 days a week. However, my client is open to considering candidates interested in school hours to support work/life balance.
