Customer Service Advisor
Salary: £28,000–£33,000 (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm

About Us
Mill Road Motors is a long-established, family-run garage with a reputation for friendly, reliable service and high technical standards. As we continue to modernise the way we work, we're looking for a Customer Service Advisor to help bridge the gap between our busy workshop and our valued customers.
The Role
As the welcoming face of the business, you'll make sure every customer enjoys a smooth, informed and positive experience from start to finish. You'll be the key link between customers and technicians — ensuring clear communication, well-organised bookings, and updates that build trust and encourage people to return.
Day to day, you will:
* Greet customers and manage their journey from booking to collection
* Listen carefully to customer concerns and book work with the right technician
* Keep customers informed with clear, confident communication throughout the process
* Coordinate jobs and help keep the workshop diary running smoothly
* Handle occasional unexpected situations with professionalism and empathy
* Support with admin tasks such as estimates, invoicing and review requests
You won't be managing people, but you will play a crucial role in making sure the whole operation runs efficiently and customers feel genuinely looked after.
What We're Looking For
* Experience in the automotive industry is desirable, but not essential if you're enthusiastic and willing to learn
* Excellent communication skills, with a friendly and professional manner
* Strong organisational ability and commercial awareness
* A proactive, dependable attitude and willingness to take ownership of your role
