About the Role
A vibrant and forward‑thinking secondary school in Bradford is seeking a passionate and creative Art and Design Technology Teacher to join their team on a full‑time basis. This maternity cover position will begin immediately after February Half Term and will involve teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4 within a supportive and well‑resourced department.Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver high‑quality, engaging lessons in Art and DT aligned with the national curriculum.
2. Plan, prepare, and assess student work to support progress and attainment.
3. Create a positive and inspiring classroom environment that encourages creativity and innovation.
4. Maintain excellent behaviour management and promote a culture of respect and ambition.
5. Collaborate with colleagues in the Creative and Technology faculties to enhance the curriculum and extra‑curricular opportunities.
Requirements
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
7. Experience teaching Art and/or Design Technology at secondary level.
8. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for fostering creativity in young people.
9. Excellentmunication and organisational skills.
10. Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
