The successful candidate will be reporting to the Clinical Veterinary Surgeon. He/she will care for a number of species on a daily basis including handling, feeding and recording of data associated with their care in accordance with the quality standards set by the company. Main Activities/Tasks Feeding and general monitoring of animals. Recording of data relevant to the above activities. To assist with the maintenance of the animal units. To carry out any other duties as deemed necessary by management. Essential Criteria: Applicants must therefore demonstrate the following essential criteria on their application form in order to be considered: At least 1 years' experience working with animals. GCSE English or equivalent Experience recording data and working with paperwork. Ability to work weekends on a rota basis. Good teamwork skills. Desirable Criteria: Due to the nature of the role preference will be given to applicants demonstrating the following desirable criteria: Previous experience of working in a Good Laboratory Practice environment.
