Founded in 1854, ICAS is the global professional membership organisation and business network for Chartered Accountants and also an educator, a regulator, an examiner and a professional awarding body.
Our members form a vibrant global community of finance and business professionals united by a commitment to ethical leadership. Educated, regulated and led to the highest standards, they transform business and support one another, for the greater good. At ICAS we strive to support, nurture and empower that community by delivering high-quality membership, connection and relevant and rigorous career-long learning.
We are now looking to appoint a Director of Tax who will hold senior leadership responsibility for the ICAS tax team, overseeing the delivery of technical content and resources for our members as well as the strategic development and delivery of policy, influence, and thought leadership in the field of taxation. You will play a central role in shaping the tax agenda across the profession, ensuring that ICAS remains a trusted and authoritative voice on tax matters in the UK and beyond.
This is a business critical role at the heart of ICAS’s public interest remit. You will ensure ICAS continues to be a forward-looking, supportive professional body, championing high standards and integrity in tax, while staying closely attuned to the needs of our members and the firms they represent.
If you are interested in the opportunity to shape the profession, raise ICAS’s profile, and engage with key stakeholders, including the Scottish and UK Governments and the media, we would love to hear from you. Please apply or contact our retained advisor, Douglas Adam at douglasadam@livingstonjames.com.
Any applications or third party introductions to ICAS will be forwarded on to Livingston James for consideration.
ICAS is an equal opportunities employer and positively encourages applications from suitably qualified and eligible candidates regardless of sex, race, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender reassignment, religion or belief, marital status or pregnancy and maternity.
