Role: Registered Care Home Manager
Hours: Full time (40+ hours) per week
Location: Gillingham, Dorset
Your responsibilities:
Overlooking the overall operations of the care home or service
Keeping quality of services towards all patients kept this including those with dementia, mental health and other needs.
Must be registered with the CQC as a registered manager, or willing to repeat this process.
Ensuring staff / residents satisfaction is upheld and always ensured.
Dealing with the recruitment, hiring processes and training for all staff onsite.
Fostering a supportive work environment, where standards are maintained at a high level.
Conducting risk assessments and maintaining regulations set by the CQC (Care Quality Commission)
Having above-adequate knowledge on adult safeguarding protocols and procedures.
Being able to manage budget and finances in the setting.
Must be IT literate and proficient in using desktop software to make reports, record-keep and communicate with other staffing agencies or partners.
Must Have:
* At least over two years experience as a registered care home manager.
* Registered with the CQC, or willing to redo the application process.
* Strong-willing desire and able to take responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the service.
* In possession of a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management of Adult Care, or equivalent.
