Shift Pattern: Monday‑Thursday 08:00‑16:00, Friday 08:00‑15:30.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for 2 Fire Safety Officer positions within NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. The role is based at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital and Gartnavel Hospital, reporting to the Head of Corporate Estates and supporting the Nominated Officer Fire. The post holder will ensure the Board meets statutory fire safety requirements, advise, direct and provide bespoke training to NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde on all matters relating to the management of fire safety.
Responsibilities
* Devising and implementing strategy, policies and guidance across the organisation that meets local and national objectives, while interpreting and delivering on statutory obligations.
* Acting as the specialist in fire safety within a healthcare setting; planning and delivering fire safety activities that are appropriate, practicable and sufficient, without unnecessarily impacting the delivery of healthcare services.
