Salary Range:£40,000 - £60,000Dependent on Experience
Location:Hybrid with some Eastleigh travel

As part of our ongoing growth, we’re looking for Senior and experienced Claims Technical Professionals who understand the challenges our customers and teams face when dealing with complex property claims. In this role, you'll ensure that every customer receives the guidance, expertise, and reassurance they need to navigate the claims process smoothly. You will collaborate with specialists, uphold our high standards, and work with integrity to deliver fair resolutions—because at Ageas, doing right by our customers is what matters most.

As such, Ageas Insurance are looking for a Claims Buildings Consultant, with extensive experience in loss analysis, as well as astrong understanding of insurance industry scoping tools and technology forloss validation, triage and settlement optimisation.

As a Claims Buildings Consultant, you willprovide technical support and referral assistance to Technical Leads and Senior Claims Handlers,supporting technical capability and governance, gathering insights throughreferrals, targeted file reviews, escalated case support. You will use supplychain performance insight to support the smooth delivery of customer andbusiness outcomes in real time for Ageas customers and teams.


Main Responsibilities as Claims Buildings Consultant:

* Strong customer empathy andworking knowledge of regulation including TCF and FOS outcomes.
* Supporting the departmental execution of focused claims Indemnity initiatives.
* Delegated Authority –Influencing process within and out with DAarrangements for Ageas supply chain. Supporting audits to optimise workflow,satisfy adherence and inform arrangements between Ageas and SN partners.
* Develop and support claims handling interventionswhere derailment or spend deterioration occurs keeping close to dissatisfactionand root cause analysis to drive improved outcomes.
* Identify and address supplier performance issuescase-by-case and drive organic behavioural improvement in conjunction with the Supplier Relationship Managers.

Skills and experience you need as Claims Buildings Consultant:

* Significant experience ofcomplex property claims handling for an Insurer or an Adjusting firm/ManagingGeneral Agent.
* Member of or working towards CII, CIOB, RICSprofessional qualifications, or a desire to do so unless you possess exceptionalproperty claims experience.
* Strong building pathology knowledge including Scheduleof Rates, producing/reviewing tenders, and Joint Contracts Tribunal experiencedesired.
* Experience of process andoperational improvement programmes beneficial.
* CII or CILA qualificationsdesired or working towards
