Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and enthusiastic administrative assistance to join our busy team. The role will involve answering the phone, the opening and scanning of incoming mail, preparation of incoming mail, preparation of outgoing mail, filing, office organisation and providing general assistance as required to our welcoming team of solicitors.
The ideal candidate will be confident, smart and hard working who can also demonstrate being able to perform to a high standard.
Duties
* Maintain organised filing systems for both physical and digital documents.
* Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring all information is up to date.
* Answer phone calls professionally, directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel while maintaining a courteous demeanour.
* Support the team with clerical duties such as typing reports, preparing meeting agendas, and taking minutes during meetings.
Experience
* Previous office experience is preferred but not essential; however, a willingness to learn is crucial.
* Familiarity with administrative processes and clerical duties will be advantageous.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace is required.
* Strong typing skills with attention to detail are essential for data entry tasks.
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a busy environment are necessary.
