Job Overview
– Temporary – 4 Weeks+ – Possible permanent opportunity – Immediate start available – North Liverpool
1. Full end to end processing of payroll for 3 sites using Equator software.
2. Review and control the timesheets of the businesses using time management systems, to ensure they are compliant with company policy and in line with payroll processing parameters.
3. Work closely with the HR department to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed.
4. Process new starters and leavers as necessary.
5. Ensuring compliance with pension auto-enrolment scheme.
6. Applying SPP, SMP, SSP and company sick pay policies as appropriate.
7. Manage the apprenticeship levy.
8. Process any AOE Orders through payroll, and any other ad hoc payroll amendments.
9. Key contact for pension provider – uploading pension data and ensuring payments are made on time.
10. Process annual P60 and P11D returns, along with P45s as and when required.
11. Upload payroll to the bank for approval in line with company pay dates.
12. Process other payroll payments such as union subs, HMRC payments, expenses, pension contributions etc.
13. Manage communication with external payroll providers for overseas employees.
14. Provide payroll reporting to key stakeholders around the businesses.
15. Point of contact for queries and external bodies including HMRC and pension providers.
16. Keep adequate up-to-date payroll records to ensure compliance with company and government policies.
17. Ensure knowledge is up to date with all current legislation and changes.
18. Identify continuous improvement.
19. Ad hoc tasks linked to payroll.
20. Requirements/qualifications for the job
21. CIPP or Payroll qualification
22. Minimum three years full end to end payroll experience
23. Ability to process basic functions and formulas in Microsoft Excel
