 
        
        Cadbury College is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Lecturer in Drama & Performing Arts to join our vibrant and forward‑thinking learning community. This part‑time role (0.4 hours per week) offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate educator to inspire students and play a key role in expanding our creative curriculum.
Responsibilities
 * Deliver engaging A‑Level Drama and Performing Arts lessons that foster creativity, confidence, and critical thinking.
 * Design inclusive and imaginative learning experiences that support diverse learners and promote artistic exploration.
 * Assess student progress through practical and written work, offering constructive feedback to enhance performance and analytical skills.
 * Create and adapt teaching materials that bring theatre, movement, and performance theory to life.
 * Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative curriculum content and share best practices across the department.
 * Integrate digital and multimedia tools to enrich the learning experience and support creative expression.
 * Provide academic and pastoral support, guiding students in achieving their goals both on stage and beyond.
 * Contribute to a vibrant and supportive learning environment that reflects the College's commitment to excellence and creativity.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
 * A degree in Drama, Theatre Studies, Performing Arts, or a closely related discipline.
 * A teaching qualification (Certificate in Education or Level 5 equivalent), or a willingness to work toward one.
 * Proven experience teaching Drama or Performing Arts, with a record of engaging lessons and strong student outcomes.
 * The ability to develop high‑quality, creative learning materials that challenge and inspire.
 * Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to motivate learners of all abilities.
 * Confidence in using digital tools and multimedia to enhance teaching and performance.
 * A strong commitment to student success, equality, and inclusion.
