Interim Contracts Lead – Facilities ManagementLocal Authority | Up to £550 per day (Inside IR35)
Initial 6 months | Hybrid / On-site as required
We are supporting a local authority client to appoint an Interim Contracts Lead (Facilities Management) to provide senior-level capacity within a fast-paced property and FM environment. This role will act as an “intelligent client”, representing the authority and ensuring facilities management services are clearly specified, effectivelymissioned and robustly managed through contract delivery. This is a high-profile interim role suited to a proactive and driven FM professional who can add immediate value, bring clarity to requirements, and strengthen contract oversight for a local authority client.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the client-side lead for FM contracts, ensuring services are delivered in line with requirements, oues and value expectations.Quickly understand, shape and articulate service requirements across a varied property portfolioProvide effectivemissioning, contract management and performance oversight of FM providers.Operate confidently at senior level, engaging internal stakeholders and external suppliersSupporternance, assurance and reporting around FM contract performanceContribute procurement input where required, including supporting specifications and tender processesEssential Experience & SkillsSignificant facilities management experience within aplex property environmentStrong intelligent client / client-side perspective rather than supplier-ledProven background in contract and delivery managementAbility to work at pace, taking ownership and driving progress in a demanding environmentExcellent stakeholder management andmunication skillsConfidence operating at a senior level within a local authority orparable organisationDesirableLocalernment experience, ideally within a property or corporate estates settingWorking knowledge of public sector procurement processes #4710925 - Katie O'Toole
