Join Our Team at Home Instead Bolton
We are seeking kind-hearted individuals to join our dedicated team as Community Home Helpers. This part-time role is centered around assisting older adults in their own homes, offering them support and companionship, and helping them maintain their independence with dignity and respect.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide companionship and conversation, fostering a supportive and positive environment.
2. Assist with daily tasks such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errand running.
3. Help with personal care activities including dressing, bathing, and grooming.
4. Encourage and support in physical activities and exercises, tailored to individual abilities.
5. Remind clients to take their medication and assist with mobility around the home.
6. Accompany clients to appointments and social events, providing transportation when necessary.
A compassionate and patient nature, good communication and interpersonal skills, reliability, and a commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of others are essential. No previous experience is required as full training will be provided. A valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle are desirable but not essential.
