Overview
Red Sky are currently recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Mechanic to join a growing team at Gatwick Airport. Working as a mechanic, you will be responsible for the servicing of all ground equipment airside. You must ensure all GSE (Ground Service Equipment) is maintained to a high level.
Responsibilities
* Servicing, maintenance, and repair of GSE Equipment
* Complete all paperwork to a high standard
* Providing a best-in-class customer experience for our business customers
* Comply with H+S Legislation
* Liaise with internal customers
* Assist in carrying out all vehicle mechanical and electrical PPM (Planned and Preventative Maintenance) in line with set schedules
Vehicle Mechanic Package
* Hours- 4 on 4 off 12hr day & night shifts
* Pay- £51,547
* Enhanced overtime rates at time & a half
About you
* GSE experience (desirable)
* GSE or HGV mechanical knowledge
* 5 year checkable history in order to get an airside pass
* Able to pass a basic criminal record check
