Senior Account Executive
Location: London / Hybrid (UK-based)
We are supporting a boutique healthcare communications agency that partners with pharmaceutical and life sciences clients to build brands, educate audiences, and drive advocacy. They are lean, nimble and passionate about delivering strategic, creative, evidence-based campaigns across multichannel platforms.
The Role
You will lead and manage client accounts across their full campaign lifecycles. You’ll be the primary liaison between clients and internal teams, responsible for ensuring excellence in delivery, maintaining budgets, timelines, and nurturing long-term relationships.
Key Responsibilities
* Own day-to-day client relationships and become a trusted advisor
* Translate client strategy into executable, integrated communications plans
* Coordinate internal teams (medical, creative, digital, regulatory, external vendors)
* Oversee budgets, timelines, reporting, and ensure projects stay on track
* Proactively identify opportunities for growth and upsell within accounts
* Ensure quality assurance, compliance, and measurement of campaign performance
You Should Have
* 2+ years’ experience in agency account management / client services (healthcare / pharma / life sciences)
* Strong strategic thinking, with ability to translate strategy into action
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines
* Commercial acumen — budget management, profitability, upselling
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change
* A degree or equivalent relevant background; experience in medical / scientific communications is a plus
