Sales Executive / Account Manager in Edinburgh/Glasgow (Additional Language Desired).

About this role: The AM will expand the network of agents in Edinburgh/Glasgow, present RIA Money Transfer Services Limited as a business opportunity, sign agents, and understand their requirements.
Salary: £28,000 to £32,000 + Commission
Location: Edinburgh/Glasgow, United Kingdom
Responsibilities
* Develop, retain and manage a portfolio of agent businesses to provide RIA money transfer services.
* Present RIA to potential agents and manage the entire sales process from prospecting and cold calling to meetings, presentations and demonstrations.
* Spend a major portion of time (approximately 90%) in the field recruiting new agents and developing existing ones within the territory.
* Sign up, set up and train agents; provide solutions to challenging matters and build long-term loyalty.
* Build strong relationships with agents to ensure ongoing loyalty to the company.
* Demonstrate the value of the service proposition using solid financial and business acumen.
* Provide agents with standard POS material, system and compliance training to maximize location potential.
* Increase transaction volume through local market presence and marketing plans as needed.
* Respond to requests from the company and agents in a timely manner.
* Stay informed about RIA operations and systems; represent RIA at events to gain new business leads.
* Monitor money transfer industry issues and collect competitor intelligence; maintain a relevant competition database.
* Report regularly to the Regional Manager and Sales Manager; complete weekly reports for target comparison.
* Attend sales meetings regularly.
Qualifications
* Fluent English and at least one additional language.
* At least 2 years in a field sales role (preferred).
* Experience with money transfer companies is a bonus.
* Strong work ethic, positive attitude and ability to work in a target-driven environment.
* Experience building client relationships and excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
* Strong analytical, time management and problem-solving skills.
* Business development experience; customer service oriented.
* Ability to translate regulatory requirements to understandable language for customers.
* Well-organised, thorough, and able to work under pressure.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
* Available to travel within the designated territory and for longer trips as needed.
