Code Ninjas – Center Director
Locations: Plymouth, MN; Maple Grove, MN; Minnetonka, MN; and surrounding areas in Twin Cities.
Hours: 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM Monday to Thursday, 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM Saturday.
Training: Curriculum training provided.
Preferred but not required: Coding experience.
Qualifications
* Proven work history with teaching/working with children ages 5-14 and enthusiasm for working with kids.
* Knowledge of business operations, sales, and team leadership.
* Sales and bottom line oriented “Get-it-done” mentality.
* Familiarity with technology, Microsoft suite, social media, and office equipment.
* Tech savvy – ability to self‑learn and figure out STEM/Coding experience (Plus).
* Must be fun to work with and enjoy working in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
* Organized and deadline and detail oriented.
* Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
* Learns quickly, adapts, is flexible, and can multi‑task.
* Holds high standards for themselves and the team.
* Ability to reliably commute to Plymouth, Minnetonka, Maple Grove and surrounding areas (Required).
Responsibilities
* Oversee daily operations of the center
* Business Development
o Follow up on leads in CRM, schedule tours, and close sales for new enrollments.
o Collaborate with leadership to generate new leads by building relationships with schools (public and private), local companies and the community (event participation).
o Socialize location‑hosted events and camps.
* Family Engagement
o Engage and build positive relationships with children and families in the center.
o Work with parents to define children’s learning needs.
o Ensure that parents understand how their child is learning and progressing.
o Proactively ensure retention of existing customers.
* Team Leadership
o Engage and oversee coaches/tutors to ensure team needs are met.
o Mentor and oversee other staff at the center.
o Ensure the center is a fun and safe learning environment for our students.
* Curriculum Planning
o Lead the Junior program to implement lesson plans and develop programs to ensure that the curriculum is engaging, effective, and up to date.
o Assist with the planning, organization, and execution of Junior camps, helping design activities and schedules that align with the center’s learning goals.
o Mentor and train other instructors on the curriculum.
* Operations
o Uphold corporate standards with respect to center cleanliness & operational standards.
o Ability to think on the fly and be perceptive to center dynamics.
o Manage and resolve customer service issues.
o Hire and schedule staff for the center.
o Create and manage operational processes.
o Report weekly to the executive team on progress.
