What you will do
* Lead and manage a team handling initial contacts, referrals, and safeguarding decisions.
* Oversee screening, triage, and threshold decisions, ensuring appropriate case progression.
* Provide management oversight and quality assurance of assessments.
* Chair and contribute to strategy discussions and multi-agency safeguarding processes.
* Supervise staff through performance management, reflective supervision, and development.
Person Specification
Qualifications
* Degree in Social Work (BA/MA or equivalent)
* Evidence of continued professional development
* Management or leadership qualification (desirable)
Registration & Compliance
* Registered with Social Work England
* Strong knowledge of Children Act 1989 and 2004, Working Together to Safeguard Children, and MASH/IFD processes
* Enhanced DBS clearance
