Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the office. This role requires proficiency in computerised systems, excellent clerical skills, and a strong ability to communicate effectively over the phone. a entry and organisational tasks.
Responsibilities
* Assist with data collection, recording and reporting for funding and reporting purposes.
* Oversee the office email inboxes and the secure CJSM email inbox; prioritising, actioning and disseminating emails as required. Escalating emails to the Leadership Team as necessary.
* Support the teams with database administration as required.
* Update client records with any information received via email, phone, post etc. and to inform the client's caseworker of these updates.
* Maintain and order stationary/ admin supplies.
* Liaise with outside agencies and to share information in line with DAVSS' policies.
* General admin duties to support the smooth running of DAVSS.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Essential
· Good working knowledge of office I.T. and software packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
· Willingness to be trained on DAVSS' domestic abuse software system (Oasis).
· Excellent organisational and general office administration skills.
· Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
· The ability to work well with others (both inside and outside the organisation) to deliver agreed outcomes.
· The ability to work with minimal supervision and to use one's initiative.
· Good time management skills, delivering outcomes within defined timescales.
Desirable
· The ability to take and produce accurate meeting minutes.
· Previous experience in an administrative role. (training will be provided)
· Previous experience of working with and supporting volunteers.
· An understanding of the complex nature of domestic abuse and the support available to victims.
· Experience of working in the charity sector.
