A leading organisation in the aviation and defence sector is establishing a new entity in following the acquisition of a key supplier. We’re seeking an experienced Interim Communications Lead to support this transition and integration.
Duration: 6 months (initial)

Key Responsibilities:
* Shape and deliver a communications plan to support the M&A process and onboard the new entity.
* Establish communications infrastructure and outputs tailored to local needs, aligned with broader UK communications strategy.
* Develop internal communications tools and channels to support colleague onboarding.
* Collaborate with UK/global communications and public affairs teams to ensure consistent messaging.
* Engage with local media, community stakeholders, and internal audiences.
🔹 Required Experience:
* Strong background in communications (internal, external, community relations).
* Experience in M&A, transformation, and change communications.
* Strategic thinker with hands-on delivery capability.
* Excellent writing, content creation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Event management and media relations experience.
