Role: Quality Assurance Manager

Salary:£50,000–£55,000 + car allowance

The role
*
Lead and embed quality assurance processes across a mixed portfolio of CQC and Ofsted regulated services.
*
Complete audits, inspections and thematic reviews, turning findings into clear, workable action plans for service managers.
*
Support with regulatory responses, incidents, complaints and safeguarding, helping services respond confidently and learn, not blame.
What you will be doing
*
Setting and refining QA policies and procedures that keep people safe and services inspection‑ready.
*
Coaching, mentoring and supporting managers and teams, promoting person‑centred practice and robust care planning.
*
Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external regulators, always championing continuous improvement and best practice.
About you
*
Level 5 Health & Social Care (or equivalent) and at least 5 years’ experience in health or social care settings.
*
Strong working knowledge of UK regulation and compliance, with experience in audits, policy development and delivering training.
*
Empathetic, resilient and collaborative, with the confidence to lead change, manage competing priorities and model a no‑blame, learning culture.
Package and travel
*
Salary £50,000–£60,000 depending on experience, plus essential car user allowance.
*
28 days annual leave including bank holidays, plus employee assistance scheme and wider benefits.

Midlands‑based role with regular nationwide travel across the organisation’s portfolio of services.
