They are on the lookout for a skilled, experienced Principal Hydraulic Modeller, willing to take on a variety of challenging projects alongside an already-established team of professionals, based in the thriving, unofficial capital of Yorkshire, Leeds.

Responsibilities for the role of Principal Hydraulic Modeller include:
Managing a high-performing team of design professionals
Supervising a diverse range of flood risk, surface water, and drainage projects for public and private clients
Overseeing River Restoration and Flood Alleviation projects
Completing Flood Risk Assessments for Zones 1, 2, and 3
Producing Surface Water Management Plans, as well as Surface Water and Foul Drainage Strategies
Flood Risk Mapping and Modelling, using the appropriate software (including TuFlow and Flood Modeller)
Producing, checking, amending, and submitting technical documents
Putting together Residential Drainage and Sewerage designs, using Causeway Flow and MicroDrainage across a number of projects
Submitting Drainage Area Plans
Managing diverse teams of people and exciting projects
Required skills and experience for the role of Principal Hydraulic Modeller include:
A UK Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Civil Engineering (or a cognate discipline)
Demonstrable experience of having worked for a UK-based consultancy or Local Authority, in a design role
Extensive experience of authoring Flood Risk Assessments, Surface Water Management Plans, Surface Water Drainage Strategies, Drainage Design (including Sustainable Drainage Systems), and Hydraulic Modelling
Considerable experience of managing people and projects
Outstanding working knowledge of the relevant software packages, including Flood Modeller, Tuflow, and Causeway Flow
Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and organisational skills
Desirable skills and experience for the role of Principal Hydraulic Modeller include:
Possess Chartership Status, or actively working to attain this
Good knowledge of the local area and surrounding region
