Orka Financial is partnering with a leading business based in Andover who are looking to recruit an Assistant Financial Accountant to join their clients established finance team. You’ll support the month-end close across multiple entities.
This is great opportunity for an AAT/ACCA/CIMA studier who is looking to take their next step within their finance career.
Key Duties
* Support month-end close across multiple entities
* Prepare and post journals, including accruals and prepayments
* Maintain the fixed asset register and run monthly depreciation
* Complete balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
* Deliver accurate monthly reporting within group deadlines
* Assist with VAT returns
* Ensure compliance with local statutory and regulatory requirements
* Support year-end audits, liaising with external auditors
* Identify and implement process improvements within the finance function
Experience
* Proven knowledge of supporting a finance team
* Studying a professional accounting qualification AAT/ACCA/CIMA
* Intermediate EXCEL skills
Salary up to £35,000 depending upon experience (Hybrid working model)
