Due to the upcoming retirement of our senior partner, we are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic GP (6 8 sessions) to join our team.
Charlotte Medical Practice is located in the market town of Dumfries, in South West Scotland. We have a bright, modern, purpose-built, Health Board owned premises, opened in 2012. We provide comprehensive care for our 9,500 patients from a mixed urban and rural demographic. We are a highly supportive and family-friendly practice, that believes in the value of continuity of care, an equal division of workload and good communication. We have weekly business meetings and meet daily over coffee.
We are 7 GP partners, supported by 3 Advanced Nurse Practitioners and 2 General Practice Nurses. We have a strong management team supported by a capable administration team. Our wider team includes Board employed Health Care Assistants, a General Practice Pharmacy team, General Practice Mental Health nurses and a MSK APP in Primary Care. Attached Community Nurses and Health Visitors are based on-site. We participate in teaching Scottish Graduate Entry Medical (ScotGEM) & Aberdeen Medical Students.
Golden Hello is available if the candidate meets the criteria.
No Out of Hours practice commitments but local opportunities exist.
