The Role
A Manager with a SAP Controls focus within the team would typically be responsible for driving growth of all SAP service lines as part of the wider ERP & Business Systems team. This includes developing new business from existing clients and prospects, building strong relationships with blue-chip organizations, and establishing themselves as a subject matter expert in assurance and consulting support related to SAP.
Responsibilities
* Managing sales activities such as responding to RFPs, audit tenders, bid management, proposal writing, and client presentations.
* Leading and managing SAP security and controls engagements, including planning, execution, and reporting.
* Evaluating the design and effectiveness of SAP controls throughout business cycles.
* Overseeing the output from client engagements, including scoping, financial management, risk management, and review of deliverables.
* Building and maintaining excellent networks and relationships with clients at CIO, CFO, and Head of Internal Audit levels across various organizations.
* Collaborating with multiple workstreams to design and implement controls for SAP implementation projects.
* Developing internal networks and promoting the ERP & Business Systems capability within KPMG, especially for SAP, and informing other service groups of its value.
* Expanding SAP services within specific segments, such as B2C and B2B, while working across other sectors.
* Coaching and developing team members as SAP specialists and training the wider Technology Risk Consulting team.
* Leading product development and innovation in SAP GRC, data, and analytics technologies to keep KPMG’s offerings market-leading globally.
The Person
Experience and Background
* Experience in SAP Security, including Basis and Role design.
* Experience in SAP business analysis and understanding core financial processes within SAP.
* Experience with ERP and business systems, including SAP and Oracle.
* Functional knowledge of SAP GRC, Financials, and BPC.
* Strong understanding of SAP applications such as ECC, S/4HANA, and other modules.
* Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and controls optimization.
* Understanding of supporting technology platforms.
* Ability to present on industry-specific topics to large groups.
* Understanding system risks and controls in a business context, with clear communication skills.
* Capability to develop excellent client and internal relationships.
* Proven ability to deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines and budgets.
