We have a fantastic opportunity to join the Forecasting & Replenishment team at Greggs as Retail Forecasting Support Manager.

About the role

17. This is a full-time role on a 1 year fixed term contract
18. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
19. We know that having a work-life balance is important, so we offer our colleagues as much flexibility as possible in line with the needs of their role
20. The base location for this role is Newcastle upon Tyne. Ideally you'll live within one hour travel of this location to work a minimum of 2 days per week in the office

What you'll do

21. Understand the current retail forecast operation (system and process) within the current forecast teams
22. Understand how the Category forecasting, Demand forecasting, Forecast analyst and Replenishment teams work together for events, new shops, product launches, seasonal campaigns and stock shortages
23. Support the forecast team on day to day activities during the implementation of SAP S/4HANA, migration and also during holiday periods
24. Understand the reporting process and help develop and enhance KPIs and alerts

About you

You will fit right into this role if you:

25. Are a highly numerate graduate with a strong analytical background, ideally a degree with an element of mathematics/statistics or computer programming
26. Have experience working in SAP, ideally in SAP S/4HANA
27. Have experience of data manipulation in Python
28. Are a logical thinker with excellent problem solving skills and an analytical mindset, with experience of analysing information and issues to identify current and potential problems and develop and implement workable solutions
29. Have strong PC skills and an ability to interrogate large data sets using Excel and Python, with an ability to communicate and apply complex data in a simple, easily understood manner
30. Are results focussed with strong planning and organisation skills, with an ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously within challenging deadlines
31. Can build good working relationships to work cross-functionally within Greggs
32. Are a confident individual with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
33. Have excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to influence at all levels whilst maintaining a strong customer focus
